Threadleaf coreopsis is a hardy, rapidly-growing species found throughout the North American continent. In the Northwest it behaves as a perennial, dying back in autumn. The plants are somewhat spreading and a foot or more in height.

The leaves are very narrow and bright green, and the plants are bushy, making this perennial attractive even when not in flower. The flowers are striking. Daisy-like, they are bright yellow with a small, greenish-brown center and may be as much as two inches in width. Prolific, the flowers cover the plants. The plants require little care. They work well in the small garden or as landscaping perennials.

These plants are grown from seed and are a year old.
