China Fir is native to southeast Asia where it may reach 70 feet in height in favorable sites. It probably would be much smaller in average Northwest conditions. Densely branched, the open configuration of young trees becomes more pyramidal with age. Pale-green, long needles distinguish this tree. In autumn and winter the trees are a gold-to-rusty brown color. Not the typical conifer, this is a beautiful addition to any landscape.

These trees are grown from purchased seed and are three years old.
