Opalka is an heirloom tomato originally from Poland. It is considered one of the best tasting paste tomatoes. The five-inch-long fruit is shaped a bit like a banana pepper with a pronounced tip on the end. Rich and sweet, the Opalka has few seeds and is very meaty. An excellent cooking tomato, it may also be eaten fresh. Fruits take 75 days to mature.
The plants are tall and vigorous.
This is an indeterminate tomato. The plants are seed-grown.
Size: One gallon, seed grown.
