Penstemons are hardy perennials in the Northwest that come in a variety of colors ranging from pink to pale blue. They are upright plants with long stalks of flowers on top; the flowers borne above the body of the plant make them quite showy. The flowers range from small to individual blooms two inches in length. With a long flowering season, and easy care, they make excellent individual either grown as individuals or as landscape plants. They prefer sunny locations and require little care.

These are cuttings from cultivated penstemons. Most cultivars are derived from a Mexican species.
