Sarcocca forms a dense, upright shrub that may reach three feet in height-sometimes more. It can be pruned but otherwise requires little care. They do best in shady to partially-sunny spaces and are particularly fine near an entryway where the fragrant flowers can be enjoyed.
The small, white, flowers mature to attractive black "berries" which persist on the shrubs.
These shrubs were grown from cuttings and are one year old.
